A LETTER FROM FUKUSHIMA

50 Members of 'The self defense force specialty chemical unit' volunteered to help fix the nuclear power plant in Fukushima after the earthquake.

All volunteered are above 55 of age and have finished raising their kids.. they say there is nothing to look back with regret in life...

The Tokyo Electric asked for help across Japan and 50 veterans volunteered... as suicide corps to work internally within the corrupted nuclear power plant in Fukushima.

One man with 40 years of work experience spoke, ' Only us veterans can help Japan by saving the power plant. I have only one more year until retirement and have finished bringing up kids...there are no more regret in life...

this man's family, the wife, the kids saw peace and calmness within their father, husband...

All volunteers walked out the door as usual, saying 'i'll be home soon'.. like every other morning...

All are exposed to radiation During their work at the power plant. The limit of radiation Japan sets is around 100mSv. However they increased the amount to 250mSv as the volunteers intended. 100mSv wasn't enough power for the volunteers to work on.. as it take too much time.

All volunteers were prepared to be exposed by radiation... and because of them, the radiation didn't exceed a critical point. Surviving rate of all living things within the 300 kilometers within the plant was close to zero if the plant weren't saved...

Lets all pray for the safety of all volunteered...

福島からの手紙．．．

自衛隊特殊化学防護隊の隊員たちは志願者です。しかも年齢は５５歳からうえ、もう子育ても終わりに近づいて思い残す事は無いと志願者となったようです。その様な志願者が５０名...

東電が全国の電力会社、協力企業に助けを求めました。志願者です、決死隊として原発の内部作業をする原発関係者のベテランを募ったのです。

中国電力の原発勤務４０年というある男性が, ’この作業は自分達のようなベテランがやるべきだ、自分は定年まで後一年であるし、子育ても終わった’として、志願したそうです。

ご家族は静かに思いを語る、自分の夫、父親 の決意に何も言えなかたそうです。その方の娘さんは，今までと違う父のもの静かな顔を初めて見たそうです。

志願者２０名翌朝、いつも出勤する時のように、’じゃあ、いってくる’　と言って玄関を出てたそうです。

原発での作業中、放射線被爆があります。国が定める限界被爆単位１００ミリシーベルト。それが２５０ミリシーベルトになりました。何故なら、彼等が望んだからです。

１００ミリシーベルトではすぐ時間が経ってしまい数分では作業ができない。だから国に２５０に上げてくれと。

その為の被爆量は覚悟の上なのです。そのおかげで昨日、あと一歩で臨界点と言う所で臨界が止まったのです。もし臨界点に達していたら私達は今、この時を、この時間を過ごしていません。家族と恋人と仲間、友人とこの時間が無かったかもしれないのです。半径３００キロ生物の生存率は、限りなくゼロに近かったんです。

今のこの時間は彼等のおかげなのです。

経営側幹部たちは我が身安泰の為、情報を小出しにし、遠く離れた東京から出てきませんでした。
